Specific objectives of visit were:
1. Attend a bilateral Defense Cooperation Talks meeting between Timor Leste and Malaysia.
2. Establish a bilateral defense Memorandom of Undestanding (MoU.
3. Reinforce active engagement in the ASEAN Regional Forum military activities with technical cooperation and Assistance from Malaysia.
4. Secure support for UN Peacekeeping Capability and technical Assistence for F-FDTL.
5. Identify Malaysian Defense Cooperation Programme training Course for F-FDTL.
6. Capacity Building programme for civilian staff in Secretariat of State for Defense
